You can change tuning and temperament for major brands but it’s possible to customize layouts. For each position number you will see the key of the position and get all the information including - all chords for that position - all main scales. You can visualize 7 chords for 12 positions and the most used scales. For each chord and scale you can see the layout. Press the play button to play the scales or arpeggios for chords at the selected tempo.

TAB edit & play

Beginners and intermediate players can practice new songs or licks with TAB reader and editor.

Set the TAB player tempo by clicking multiple times on the TAP button or change it manually.

Pitch detector shows the frequency of your sound. It is useful to test your tuning or practice bend notes and overblows.

Circular Layout

Circular Layout visualizes the theory of diatonic harmonica based on the circle of fifths; Learn scales, chords, blues scales, positions, modes, note intervals, note distance ratios and 12 bar blues chords progression.

Scales & arpeggios player

By pressing a layout button you can hear the selected note. For straight draws and blows the app shows the frequency number based on tuning and temperament. You can see the difference to twelve-tone equal temperament note.

Access Harmonica Heritage Network

Harmonica Heritage Network is an experimental project.
It is a new approach to harmonica related database visualization.
We try data mining in publicly available content about harmonica players, teachers, tutorials, videos, discographies and videographies.
Our adatadoc network analysis system visualises data as a semantic database making the examination of large database more transparent.
